Who we are
Sip N’ Play was founded by two local moms who heard and saw a need for something special — a place where young children could play, explore, and connect, while parents could take a breath, and share a coffee! From that simple idea, Sip N’ Play was born. Though they know they can’t please everyone, their hope is that the space they’ve created brings warmth, laughter, and connection to families and friends, becoming a place the community is proud to call its own.

Christine Lutz, a proud mom of one, has always been deeply family-oriented. Having grown up surrounded by children, then working with them, and being actively involved in her community, she developed a natural passion for creating spaces where families can connect and thrive. While attending local playgroups with her son, and speaking with other parents, Christine often heard many others who shared the same challenge she faced — finding engaging, age-appropriate activities for children three and under. With her caring spirit and determination to make a difference, she set out to bring Sip N’ Play to life. Balancing her role as a Pharmacy Technician in town, Christine has poured her heart, time, and energy into creating a warm and welcoming space for families to gather, play, and make lasting memories.

As a busy mom of three beautiful children, Tranel understands firsthand how important it is for caregivers to have a moment to breathe, connect, and recharge while their little ones play and explore. Seeing the lack of places in the Parkland area where both children and parents could comfortably spend time together during the day, she was inspired to take action. Joining forces with Christine, Tranel helped transform that shared vision into Sip N’ Play. With over a decade of experience as an Events Coordinator and business owner, she brings strong organizational skills, creativity, and an eye for detail to everything she does. Her passion for culinary arts and love for creating welcoming spaces ensure that every aspect of Sip N’ Play — from the menu to the atmosphere — reflects warmth, comfort, and community.
